About us
We started Queens Cattery in 2006 with a single kennel in our garden, after a poor boarding experience with our own cats. We wanted somewhere we'd be happy to leave them.
We grew to 6 kennels in 2008 and added 8 more in 2010. We're still small and family-run, and we hold a 5-star rating from Rushcliffe Borough Council. You're welcome to visit and look around before you book.
Our kennels
We have 14 kennels set in a quiet garden.
- Each kennel has a raised sleeping house, shelves and a scratching post
- An outdoor run with views of the garden
- Some kennels open up into larger pens for families of more than 2 cats, subject to availability
- Licensed by Rushcliffe Borough Council

A non-refundable deposit of £30 per cat is due when you book. The rest is due on arrival.

Health requirements
To keep every cat safe, please make sure of the following before your cat stays with us.
Vaccinations
Cats must be vaccinated against cat flu and enteritis at least 2 weeks before their stay. Please bring the vaccination certificate on arrival.
Flea and worm treatment
Flea and worm treatments must be up to date.
Neutering
Male cats must be neutered.
If your cat is unwell
We'll take your cat to the vet named on your booking form, or to a local practice if that isn't possible. Vet costs are passed on to you.
We may refuse cats that aren't vaccinated or appear unwell.
Terms and conditions
- Cats are boarded at the owner's risk.
- A £30 deposit per cat is due at booking and is non-refundable.
- Boarding fees are due on arrival.
- You can cancel free of charge up to 14 days before drop-off. Later cancellations pay the full booking fee.
- Cats not collected within 14 days of the agreed collection date will be rehomed or placed elsewhere at the owner's expense.
